Sonic's back again, for his exclusive-to-Saturn packed with lovely flashy colours and chequered flags. He follows a lie of a plot, even for a Sonic game: apparently this time Robotnik will take over the world by… racing! Nevertheless the game remains an enjoyable departure from Sonic's platformer roots.
.For the record, Sonic R is not, and never will be, a Shakespeare play in the gaming world. More it is a guilty pleasure, like licking cookie dough off a spoon.

Hexen review'Worst game' review. Hexen Developer: Raven/ID Genre: Fantasy/FPS Platform: Saturn 1997 'Hexen – Beyond any 3d game ever created'. A bold claim, especially for a game that's about as 3d as cardboard. The sequel to modest title 'Heretic', Hexen endeavours to have a plot via a textwall of narrative summary in the instruction manual. If that doesn't alienate all but the most devout of Lord of the Rings fans, words like 'cleric' and 'mana' will. | I do all sorts of things, though you're mostly going to find pencil portraits, digital paintings and comics. Most of what I do is for practice so I usually use stock images for reference. There's some fanart of stuff like Twilight but not that much. |

  I love art! I'm also a writer but you won't find any of my writing posted here. Though I do critique a lot of writing. I have an original comic strip called Token Feminist which I've not done for a while, but have a look, it might give you a laugh. I'd mainly like to get really good at realistic digital pictures. I'm on a Game Art Design course at the mo. Too much standing-up-and-talking for my liking but maybe I'll get used to it... still how exciting it would be to be a CG artist!
