I GOT A FIRST FOR A MODEL I SCULPTED FOR MY GAMES COURSE HOMEWORK.

For those of you who don't know, the degree system is as follows:

3rd (lowest)
2:2 (second lowest)
2:1 (second highest)
1st (highest)

And better yet, my friend ~insomniYAK got a 1st too! I'M SO HAPPY I COULD CRY.

The course seems to be winding down, and I've only got 3000 words to do on National Novel Writing Month. That means I'll soon have more time to do personal arty stuff. My tutor says I should draw more figures so I'll be doing that in the meantime.

Here's my priority list (outside of the games course pictures I have to do):

1) Finish belated birthday art for =seanpt
2) Finish drawing of ~underthelayers
3) Finish digipic of one of *Kittys-gone's incredible photos
4) Start picture of ~cxsankh

Okay, so I had to do two games reviews and find four people to read through them and give me critique on them. I've got three but I can't find a fourth person to do it!! So... I need ONE PERSON to read through both of them and give me some constructive feedback. It'd help me majorly if you could. Please?

Here it comes...

I was really really scared last night, I couldn't sleep, so I got up and wandered around. Then I happened upon my bag full of stuff I'd bought for uni, my lovely mechanical pencils, my half-price Derwent pencils, my kneaded eraser... and I was happy.

Today, I got in there and sat down, and the teacher said, draw. And we drew alllllllll day. I got repetitive strain injury before the first half of the day was up. And my homework? Draw. The teacher says we should be drawing all the time, which I was pretty much doing anyway, so I guess on my days off I'll be doing that, x2. Stock gallery HERE I COME.

The teacher saw my work and said 'nice, did you do Art at college?' Me: 'No...' He said 'You could have fooled me!' Me:

I didn't make any friends, but I don't care. Maybe I will, maybe I won't, but I still have all you guys

Tomorrow is Photoshop. But the graphics tablets they've ordered in haven't come...

OMG I'm foaming at the mouth. I just got a new tablet, whose name is 'Wacom bamboo fun'. IT'S THE GREATEST THING EVER CREATED BY MAN. It's really really sensitive to opacity settings so I've created pretty much the smoothest picture ever. AND, it comes with Photoshop Elements 6, which, considering I've been working on Photoshop Elements 3 for the past 2 years, is amazing. I'll have the pen tool and proper lasso capabilities! ZOMG!!!

Ok froth over. I'm so so happy.

Nah this is really an update of the 75 themes challenge and to let everyone know I'm back from a 2-week hiatus. So HI! hope you're all well and I'm sorry you're all back at school.

So I'm starting a course on Game Art and Design - hopefully that should lead to me getting a job in video game art. YESS, finally something I find easy! Also, they didn't care that I got a D in art at GCSE so HA to my art teacher I'm nervous about the course but I'm looking forward to doing art morning, noon and night.
